The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2, the latest VaporMax build, appears ready for release.Fresh off of the release of new Air VaporMax Flyknit colorways in February, Nike seems prepared to release the Air VaporMax Flyknit 2. What is different this time around you may ask? The answer is not much. Thanks to reputable leaker US11, official images of several upcoming Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 colorways have surfaced — there’s black/white, teal/crimson, grey/black/teal colorway, and a women’s colorway featuring grey, pink, and blue. The tooling underfoot appears identical to what the first Air VaporMax Flyknit used, but the upper has received fuse overlays at the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker, as well as the heels. Nike also opted for smaller Swoosh branding on the sneakers’ sides, and a reflective strip instead of reflective VaporMax branding at the heel.Rounding out the changes is an added pull tab for easier access, and it may be the only “enhancement” made if you ignore the overlays.
