What is different this time around you may ask? The answer is not much.Thanks to reputable leaker US11, official images of several upcoming Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 colorways have surfaced — there’s black/white, teal/crimson, grey/black/teal colorway, and a women’s colorway featuring grey, pink, and blue.The tooling underfoot appears identical to what the first Air VaporMax Flyknit used, but the upper has received fuse overlays at the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker, as well as the heels. Nike also opted for smaller Swoosh branding on the sneakers’ sides, and a reflective strip instead of reflective VaporMax branding at the heel.Rounding out the changes is an added pull tab for easier access, and it may be the only “enhancement” made if you ignore the overlays.

Nike Sportswear has just confirmed that the Nike VaporMax iD and Air Max 1 Flyknit iD will be available for customization on NIKEiD for the celebratory Air Max Day.This limited offering to customize your own Nike Air VaporMax and Air Max Flyknit 1 will be available first at Nike’s Sneakeasy locations in North America. Both models will offer “Multicolor” option, as well as using the OG “Sport Red” color scheme on the all-new VaporMax. The Air Max 1 Flyknit will include special Volt-inspired soles, as well as special Airmoji details.The Nike Sneakeasy locations will be open to the public via limited tickets and sign-ups in New York starting on March 20th, Los Angeles on March 22nd and Chicago and Toronto on March 25th. German sportswear company ACRONYM and Nike have teamed up for a striking Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Moc 2.The Moc 2 build ditches the laces for an elastic band across the midfoot and a sock-like Flyknit upper. ACRONYM, which is known for loud designs, has covered the shoe in a wild all-over black and white geometric print.Volt yellow accents at the heel and midfoot bands pop right off the upper and logos commemorating the collaboration are placed on the insole.
